Alliance for Women & Children

The Alliance for Women & Children held its sixth annual “Empowering Women with Tools to Dream” event at the Abilene Civic Center, 1100 N. 6th St. The Alliance provides scholarships for children to attend after-school care, scholarships for the middle school girls who participate in A-Teens after-school and summer programs and helps provide mammograms for women who have ho means to pay for them through their Women’s Health Awareness program.
