I wonder what will happen to the body count as people move from larger vehicles into more fuel efficient and smaller vehicles.

We get really good service at all three of the Brownwood Sonic's and the Starbucks. Perhaps we go at a different time of day. I regret the loss of the Starbucks because I liked the service and the coffee.

Yall might find it interesting to know that many other cities are considering cameras for intersections with signal lights. The problem is much larger than just in Abilene.

Perhaps the law is wrong or being wrongly interpreted. The legislature or the courts may need to provide clarification. I doubt the tax abatements are going to go away as long as they are used for the good of the people in the county. It is my understanding from several different sources that the only objections that are normally heard come from those that have not received any money from their nearby wind farms.

Leave the ramps where they are if you want but put ramps where they should be. Nobody needs or wants to drive the length of the access road at a reduced speed to get where they are going.

Recently I along with many others was running the access road at about 60 and there was a speed cop turned perpendicular to the highway waveing his hand held radar gun at the few cars on the highway. Had he looked at the traffic passing behind him he would have been able to fill his ticket book in time to take off half a shift. Is he paid by the hour?

TXDOT widened the freeway to three lanes each way and lowered the speed limit, they put the ramps in the wrong places to force traffic off of the freeway and onto the narrow and slower access roads. So I have a question for everyone: Why does the speed limit lower to 60 from 70 when there are more lanes and less traffic?

They ran out of money too late. They have made it so difficult to get onto I20 from TX36 that it is just about as fast for a car to go into town and drive down Judge Ely to the Interstate and everyone knows Judge Ely needs more traffic. If one leaves 36 and gets on Loop 322 to go to the Interstate they get to drive down the service road for a while before they finally reach a ramp onto the Interstate. The service road is badly worn and has deep holes in it and when the traffic picks up from Musgrave's new developments it will be as overcrowded as the service roads alongside the Winters Freeway.

It is quite obvious to everyone except TXDOT that what they are doing is hendering more traffic than it is helping. Let's hope they remain short of funds untill they realize the error of there ways.
