ARMC has a couple of doctors who repeatedly make mistakes and the hospital chooses to do nothing.
The physician yelling at me and my family as our mother was about to pass will never be forgotten.

Candace, I am sorry to hear about your problems with the cardio group in Abilene. My brother in law from a town near Abilene received a certified letter from his cardiologist stating he was no longer a patient of his and he had thirty days to find another doctor. Also, he was not allowed to be treated by another doctor in that office. There was no reason given.
Of course we know it has to do with the problems my family had with a few doctors in Abilene. However, he has a different last name and has nothing to do with our case. They did their homework. I am sure it is the same cardio group as yours.
It turned out well, he now has a great physician in another city.

A common theme we heard at Abilene Regional Medical Center was, "He is a good doctor, but he has very poor bedside manners." We heard that about more than one physician there.
While at Rolling Plains Hospital in Sweetwater, Dr. Lindsey and his staff were excellant. He was very informative and compassionate. The nurses in the Emergency Room were the same. They even called us numerous times after leaving Sweetwater and arriving at ARMC.
If I treated the public the way some of the physicians at ARMC treat their patients and families, I would be out of a job.

Maybe so. But those are accusations and without names, we cannot be for sure it is true.
