I simply don't understand how any proud Texas would willingly allow ANYONE to take their land. Especially after this crooked Texas legislature handed him eminent domain rights. Don't know what that is? Well, our republican congressman who have received about 1.2million in donations over the last year from pickens gave him the right to run as a utility company, therefore, he can now claim eminent domain privileges to seize (by paying for) a person's land, whether they were wanting to sell or not. Other than this article, you would have thought that this would have made BIG news in the big country. Can you imagine if any outsider had been given rights to claim your land in abilene and not one media outlet would carry the story? I don't get it....where is the outrage?

civil rights violation? Really? Are you crazy? OH, and the genius who stated that the owners of the hotels were not US citizens and didn't know the bill of rights....Are you a racist? Or a Xenophobe? If knowing the bill of rights was the standard to be allowed to operate a business in Abilene, we are in serious trouble.
