apricottx, all the information I have read regarding Obama's speeches is that he too uses speech writers. He also uses teleprompters, and has even been criticized because of the stark difference in his speeches when he has NOT used them. As far as I know, ALL the candidates use speech writers...both parties.

Cadechar, you are correct. Ordinary Hummers do not get 20mpg. However of course, WHS has commissioned the manufacturer to build us all custom purple and gold Bulldog Platinum Limited Edition Hummers, that are more fuel efficient.

My son also attends Beltway's program, as he did last year when it was under the Boys and Girls Club name. Last year, he thoroughly enjoyed the program and we were very pleased with the activities offered and the attention he received.
Of course, this is the first week of school, but so far this year we are just as pleased. They continue to offer a variety of activities, have an energetic staff and provide a safe environment for the children. The fees have not changed from what they were when it was the Boys and Girls Club in previous years.
We were on a waiting list last year before he was allowed to attend. The way I see it, now there will be another great place for children of the area to go, hopefully without having to wait on a list.
Please explain to me what is wrong with a church wanting to have a faith-based program.
