I have many, many great memories of these two schools — first the original Abilene High (now Lincoln) where I spent five years starting in 1939. Athletic eligibility was established by age (under 18) and I stayed (by choice) a fifth year to play basketball on the Eagles great teams and before entering the military. Full story »
