EFFECTIVE BUSINESS PLANNING
Entrepreneurs can benefit greatly from a free workshop to be presented at the Abilene Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
"Research and Create an Effective Business Plan" will be presented by Russ Altman, assistant director of the Texas Tech University Small Business Development Center in Abilene.
Each participant will receive a detailed guide, "The Tactics of Creating a Business Plan." While participants are ultimately responsible for developing their own plan, Altman will provide a number of alternatives to make the process less intimidating. He'll also point out a number of useful Web sites and print resources to help create the plan.
Register by calling the library at 676-6025 by noon Thursday.
