HSU wins homecoming football game

The Hardin-Simmons Cowboys defeated East Texas Baptist in a homecoming game Saturday in Abilene, 40-12.

The No. 16 Cowboys improved to 5-1 overall, and 3-1 in the American Southwest Conference.
