Howard Payne falls to Texas Lutheran
More College Sports Joel Waldon passed for 247 yards and three touchdowns to lead Texas Lutheran to a 28-21 win over Howard Payne on Saturday.
A 9-yard touchdown pass from Waldon to Steven Thrash with 3:02 left to play was the game-winner. Thrash was on the receiving end of two Waldon touchdown passes -- the first of which came with 0:07 left in the half.
Texas Lutheran improved to 2-3 with the win; Howard Payne dropped to 1-3.
