The top 25 graduates from both Abilene and Cooper high schools, as well as honorees from Wylie and Abilene Christian high schools, will be honored at the Top Fifty Plus Banquet beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Abilene Civic Center. The Abilene Southwest Rotary Club has sponsored the annual event for 49 years.

Retired Lt. Col. Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch, a 20-year Army veteran and 1976 graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, will be the featured speaker. She was recently named to “Hispanic Business Magazine’s” list of the 100 most influential Hispanics in America.

A few tickets will be available at the door for $20 each.
