Soccer tournament to benefit education

The Hispanic Leadership Council will sponsor the Viva La Educacion Soccer Tournament beginning at 8 a.m. July 26 at Lee Complex behind Lee Elementary School, 1026 N. Pioneer Dr.
All teams are guaranteed to play at least three games, according to a news release. The top two teams will receive team trophies, and the first-place team will also receive T-shirts.
The entry fee is $150 per team, with proceeds benefiting the HLC Scholarship Fund. Entry forms and rosters must be turned in by Tuesday. Forms are available at www.hispanicabilene.com and from State Farm Insurance — Samuel Garcia at 401 N. Willis St.
