The first Business Mercado, sponsored by the Hispanic Business Committee of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce will be held Saturday, Sept. 20.

Event Co-Chairs Joyce Sledge and Mike Hernandez said the event’s objective is to provide an avenue for interaction between Hispanic and non-Hispanic, businesses and consumers, interested in targeting the Hispanic market.

The Mercado will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center.
