New district maintenance administrator named
Dale Tollett, a 35-year employee with the Texas Department of Transportation, was recently named District Maintenance Administrator for the Abilene District.
He will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations and programs including emergency operations, maintenance planning and budgeting, special maintenance projects and facilities projects in the district's 13-county area.
Tollett began his TxDOT career in 1972 in the Callahan County maintenance section. He transferred to the Mills County maintenance section in 1991 and returned to Jones County in 1997 as the maintenance supervisor. Before this assignment, Tollett was the Hamlin area office maintenance supervisor since 2003. That area office covered Jones, Haskell, Shackelford and Stonewall counties.
Texas Tech Small Business Development Center to conduct eBay workshop
The Texas Tech Small Business Development Center will be conducting a free eBay workshop, focusing on buying and selling on eBay, from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Texas Tech Conference room on the sixth floor of the Enterprise Building, 500 Chestnut St.

Coleman County State Bank leadership changes
Henry Dodson, who has served as president of the Coleman County State Bank for the past nine years, retired on July 31. He served with the bank for 20 years and before that was a loan officer with the Coleman Production Credit Association.
Dodson is native of Coleman County and a 1965 graduate of Texas A&M University. He has served as an officer and director of the Coleman Rodeo Association and has served on the boards of Holiday Hill Nursing Home and the Coleman County Electric Co-op. He has been involved with the Coleman County livestock show and is currently serving as president of the Coleman County Youth Activity Center.
Dodson was voted Rural Citizen of 2007 for Coleman County.
Reave Scott will succeed Dodson as president of the bank. Scott graduated from Angelo State University in 1997 with a bachelor of business administration degree. He was previously branch president at Abilene Banking Center. Scott will continue to manage CCSB's Abilene branch and will have an office at the Coleman location. He is also a member of the bank's board of directors.
Patrick Justiss has been selected as executive vice president of the bank. He has been a vice president and commercial lender at Abilene Banking Center for the past four years. He is a graduate of Tarleton State University, receiving a bachelor of business administration degree in agribusiness and a master of business administration degree in finance.
Anson couple named top promoters of energy network
Anson residents Greg and Robin Goza were recently named top performers in the Green Mountain Energy Network for their success promoting 100 percent wind electricity service from Green Mountain Energy Company.
The Gozas, along with eight other award winners from throughout Texas, were invited to Austin for a tour of Green Mountain's corporate headquarters. They will also appear on the cover of the upcoming second edition of "Clear Choice Magazine," available through the Green Mountain Energy Network.

Abilene native joins Grant Thornton LLP in Dallas
Abilene native Randall R. Green has joined the Dallas office of Grant Thornton LLP as a principal, where he has responsibility for the Dallas Advisory Services Practice.
Before joining Grant Thornton, Randy was a vice president of a major consulting company and led the strategic technology solutions practice in Dallas. He also was a partner in the business consulting practice of a global accounting firm where he led the advanced technology solutions teams in several cities.
A graduate of Cooper High School, Green attended Baylor University and received a bachelor of arts degree. He resides in Plano with his wife and two sons. He serves on the board of directors at the Senior Source, a Dallas-based organization serving the needs of seniors and their caregivers in the Dallas area, and is chairman of the marketing committee.
