Urn found on porch prompts search for kin of 'Uncle Jack'

At first Terry Diamond thought the jar sitting on an iron planter in the corner of her front porch was something leftover from the holidays. A jar with baked goods inside, perhaps. Diamond soon realized her cookie jar was instead an urn.

Diamond called police Sunday but with no markings on the urn, and only a vague note to accompany it, the Abilene Police Department property division is short on leads. Full story »
